Look Ma! No Hands!!!

Have you ever found yourself enjoying a task effortlessly regardless of the monetary compensation received? It most likely means you're on the right path regarding your contribution to society. For some of us that is being a mom, for others it is a dream career.

A non-artist will watch an artist paint and ask in amazement 'how do you do that?' To the artist there's barely an answer because it's such a natural flow of their energy. It's just what an artist does... naturally. And, with no resistance.

In the same respect, an artist may watch a nurse perform her rounds and ask 'how do you do that?'. The nurse would probably answer the same as the artist "It's just what I do. It comes naturally to me."

It's not easy for everyone to pursue their dreams. Most people are taught and conditioned by society to be pragmatic. Make a living, not a life. Ideally everyone would make their living by doing what they are passionate about. And by doing so, I believe people would encounter less frustration and stress. Of course there are a million factors involved and happiness is subjective. But just take a moment and allow yourself to dream of the life you'd have doing only the things you love doing. Then... start doing things to turn that dream into a reality.
